Walking for Autism!

Sunday 8th Mar

Autism is something that is very close to my heart because my brother has autism. Growing up with him has helped me understand that autism is not something that defines a person, it’s just a different way of experiencing the world. My brother sees things differently, thinks differently, and sometimes communicates differently, but that is what makes him unique.

Living with someone who has autism has taught me a lot about patience, understanding, and appreciating the small things. Some days can be challenging, but there are also so many amazing moments that make me proud to be his sibling.

That’s why I decided to take part in a walk for autism. I want to show my support not only for my brother, but for everyone living with autism and for the families who support them every day. By walking, I hope to raise awareness and help people understand autism a little bit better.

Autism doesn’t need to be “fixed” — what people with autism need most is understanding, acceptance, and support. Everyone deserves to feel included and valued for who they are.

I’m walking for my brother, because he means the world to me. I’m proud of him every day, and this walk is my way of showing that.
