My updates

I’m walking 10.000 steps daily for my Son Francisco who has autism . Supporting every children with a hidden disability also matters .

Saturday 14th Feb

Francisco is a little boy who’s very special . Over the years Francisco has demonstrated how much he is able to learn new things and all in his own time he always gets there . He’s very independent little boy who’s wants to do everything on his own but sometimes can be hard for him and with him being non verbal we get a lot of challenges into knowing what he wants what he likes .

Before I had Francisco I didn’t know what autism was and after dealing with it and dealing with Francisco has taught me so much and we learn everyday together the good and the bad of it . There are some days where it’s bee the most amazing and easy day but then there’s the meltdowns and how to deal with it and how to make him feel comfortable by expressing his needs and stimulating him .

As a mum we want our child to have the best and the best even though autism challenges everyday in our life’s we always find a way to make them feel secure in their own world , because our world wasn’t prepared to children with autism so we fight that our child is accepted how he is . Schools , socialising and their routines is very important for them  , important they feel safe in places where we are unable to be there if you ( parent ) are their safe place and that’s when we fight for support and understanding children with autism even if they don’t have show because every child is different .

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
