Walking for our Moo ❤️

Sunday 8th Mar
Why This Journey Means So Much to Us

First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated or sponsored me so far. The support we’ve received already truly means the world to our family.

Our daughter is 11 years old and she is autistic. She also has ADHD, severe anxiety, and dysfunctional breathing. Like many families raising a child with additional needs, our journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, difficult days, and moments where everything has felt overwhelming.

But if there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this: we wouldn’t change her for the world.

She is completely unique — truly one in a million. She has the most incredible heart of gold, and she brings so much love, honesty, and individuality into our lives. Around our home we call her “our Moo”, and she has always been, and will always be, our absolute priority.

Recently, I experienced a health scare of my own. It was a moment that made me stop and think about life, health, and the future. Since then, I’ve had to make some changes in my day-to-day life and start medication to improve my health.

Taking on this walk felt like the perfect step forward.

I’m doing this not only to improve my own health, but also for our Moo and for every child and adult living with autism. My hope is that, with the help of your donations and sponsorship, we can raise awareness, support the cause, and hopefully contribute to making things a little better for families like ours.

Every donation, every share, and every message of encouragement helps more than you might realise. It reminds us that we’re not alone and that there are kind people who care and want to make a difference.

So from the bottom of my heart — thank you for supporting this journey. ❤️

And one last thing I always try to remind people:

Be kind. Not all disabilities are visible. ✨

Thank you to my donors
