Arthur 🩵

Friday 6th Feb
Hello,
As some of you know my beautiful Arthur-Alexander is one of the most funny, sweet beautiful boys but to me he’s perfect in every way. Last year I noticed Arthur started doing certain things which I hadn’t seen before, and over the next several months more and more aspects was coming to light and he was showing a lot of autism traits. Not many people are aware but we’re finally on a path to finally get his diagnosis for his autism and put in writing by his paediatricians. So many tests and forms have been completed by me and his nursery and it has been a struggle. I have had to learn and understand his understanding of the world as well as learning Makaton, understanding him when he talks to me non verbally, so so many sensory needs and going from knowing how count and name colours and now we’re having to start again as he stopped. His senco teacher as well as the rest of the nursery staff have been absolutely amazing and we wouldn’t be at the stage we’re at now if it was for them and his health visitor. My family have been the best support helping with his needs and close friends helping me especially with makaton and understanding him when he communicates non verbally. As well as Arthur’s other two aunties reaching out and asking and supporting him and I couldn’t thank you enough.  Where we was 4/5months ago to now he’s come along way even if he can/will only say certain numbers and a maximum of three colours he has come so far and I’m beyond proud of him. It may not seem a lot to people but to us it’s a lot. Everyday you wonder if it’s gonna be a good day or bad day whether he’s wanting to eat or get dressed or even listen and communicate.
So me and my sister are doing an autism walk to raise money for the charity. 10k steps a day anything over that is a bonus. Once our account is active if anyone is willing to donate and help us raise as much money possible whether it being a small amount or a large amount we’d be immensely grateful. Thank you for taking your time reading this.
My beautiful boy you’re not different to any other child mummy sees you🩵
