I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for my 5 year old autistic son Dave, his character is unbeatable with the smiles and faces he gives us.
He is navigating a world that struggles to accept him, but we wouldn't change him for the world.

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

About our little Dave

Thursday 19th Mar
So Dave is now 5, he has Global developmental delay (GDD) as well as Autism.

He's a happy go lucky little man but has his own way of dealing and navigating the world around him.

He cracks on and carries his shoulders high with his cheeky grin and his funny faces he loves to pull at people close to him. We wouldn't change him for the world.

Hi Charlotte, Just donated and what a great thing to do. I wish there was more help for all ages. It seems to stop when they become adults.
