Halfway There in Less Than 24 Hours… Let’s Go!
Monday 16th FebI am honestly blown away.
In less than 24 hours, we’ve already reached over half of the initial goal for my Walk for Autism fundraiser. Half. In a day. The support, the messages, the donations — it means more than I can put into words.
But here’s the thing…
We’re not stopping there.
The original goal was intentionally small — something achievable, something steady. But seeing the momentum already building? I want this to excel. I want us to push it higher. For the children who see the world differently. For the families navigating a world that doesn’t always understand. For every exhausted parent fighting battles most people never see.
So here’s the plan.
My Walk for Autism T-shirt is on the way (and I will absolutely be wearing it proudly), and I’ll be getting as many steps in as possible — before and after my shifts at the gym. You’ll find me clocking miles on the treadmill, squeezing in steps wherever I can.
If you’re part of my gym community and you see me on there — come say hello. Jump on the treadmill next to me. Walk a few steps with me. Let’s make it a thing. Let’s make some noise. Let’s show what community really looks like.
This isn’t just about hitting a number.
It’s about visibility.
It’s about understanding.
It’s about doing something — even if it feels small — that adds up to something big.
We’re already halfway there.
Now let’s see how far we can really take this 💙
Why I’m Walking for Autism.
Sunday 15th FebThis year, I’m walking for Theo 💙. For the kids who see the world differently, who experience life in ways most of us can’t even imagine. The ones whose small victories feel enormous, and whose struggles are often invisible.
I’m walking for the parents too—the mums and dads who fight battles nobody else sees, who give everything without complaint, who love fiercely even when it’s exhausting. They are the quiet superheroes of this world.
Every step I take is for understanding, for awareness, and for a little more kindness in the world. It’s for celebrating difference, for lifting up families, and for reminding everyone that every small action matters.
If you’d like to support me (and Theo!) every donation makes a real difference
