Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

As everyone that knows me knows this is a place very close to my heart and it’s within my home 
I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day with Jacob  from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

As everyone that knows me knows I have the most amazing little boys that have the biggest struggles. 
Autism! 
Autism isn’t friendly it isn’t a superpower. It’s a battles in your own head daily not being able to regulate and ending in self harming for the smallest amount of relief as that is what they can control and for my Jaxon that is daily head banging with no feel of the pain it causes the lumps, bumps, cuts and bruises. For my Jacob that looks more like biting himself bruising left from biting himself with head banging when it gets really bad. Neither of them having a voice it’s me. Neither of them making any sort of decision for them self not even a chocolate bar from the shop as it’s too overwhelming. It’s not a fun way of living but they are happy (from time to time) they are so loved and cared for.
