Walk for Autism
Sunday 1st FebWalk for Autism – Because You’ll Never Walk Alone 💙
This month I’m taking on a challenge that means more to me than I can put into words…
I’m doing Walk for Autism for my two amazing boys, who are both neurodivergent.
Autism is something that affects our everyday life in ways people don’t always see. It’s not just the appointments, the routines, the school meetings or the constant planning… it’s the emotional side too.
It’s the moments of overwhelm.
The struggles with change.
The sensory battles.
The anxiety that can come out of nowhere.
The “being misunderstood” when they’re trying their best.
But it’s also the magic.
The unique way they see the world.
The pure honesty.
The laughter.
The love.
The little wins that feel like the biggest victories.
Why I’m doing this
I’m doing this challenge because I want my boys to grow up knowing one thing for sure:
Having autism doesn’t mean you have to do life alone.
You will never walk alone.
As their mum, I’ll always be beside them — cheering them on, learning with them, fighting for them, and loving them through every high and low.
The challenge
I will be aiming for 10,000 steps a day, pushing myself daily and doing it with purpose — every step is for my boys and for autism awareness
Every step I take is for:
💙 awareness
💙 understanding
💙 acceptance
💙 support for families like ours
Fundraising
Alongside the steps, I’ll be fundraising for a cause that means the world to me.
If you can donate, share, or even just send some encouragement, it truly means everything.
Even the smallest donation makes a difference — and it helps support autistic individuals and families who need it most.
How you can help
✨ Donate if you’re able
✨ Share this post to help spread awareness
✨ Cheer me on while I smash my step goal
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, supporting my boys, and supporting autism awareness.
Let’s do this together 💙
Because no one should ever have to walk alone.
🤍
Friday 30th JanAlongside the steps, I’m fundraising and I’d love to reach my target of £125.
For someone who loves to walk everywhere I’m sure I’ll smash this 🤍
