I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Becky & George’s Story

As many of you may know my son George is recently going through soon being diagnosed with Autism. As I didn’t really know or understand what autism was or how it would affect mine and Georgie’s life it has been a complete learning curve. Also a little scary stepping into and dealing with the unknown. 

So with this in mind I have decided to do the ‘Walk for ‘Autism’ in order to raise awareness about the condition and as much money as possible to help all those affected by autism. 

As I suffer from COPD it will be a struggle to do the walk  but thinking of my George will keep me going and with the help of friends I am determined to complete this challenge. 

George and I would be extremely grateful to everyone who would sponsor me no matter the amount every penny counts.
