My Archie boy 💙
Monday 19th Jan My son Archie was diagnosed with Autism when he was 4, we were referred to a community nursery nurse by our HV when he was 2 1/2, our community nursery nurse was amazing and made all the referrals for us. We went to what was called an ADOS assessment, which Archie scored quite high on. Also had a speech and language appointment which Archie was considered to be 18 months in advance of his speech! We went and met with a developmental paediatrician who then diagnosed Archie with Autism. The world would be a much better place if everyone was more accepting of autism. We could all make the world more autism friendly. This is why I am walking for autism, not just for my amazing, funny and talented Archie boy, but for all the other autistic people.
