Friday 20th Feb This year I’ve decided it’s time to be that mom that stands up and advocates for Autism awareness, my daughter was 3 when she was diagnosed and it was such a hard time in my life, nearly 3 years later I couldn’t imagine it any other way, autism is a struggle but also has its beauty. If I could take away my daughter’s struggles but keep her stims, her excited flaps, her continuous talking not knowing what she’s saying but she’s so content. I was once told “imagine being pregnant for 9 months and ending up with an autism child” I sat back and I KNOW being a Sen mum was made for me. It’s made me a stronger woman, it’s given me the patience in this life, it’s shown me a love like no other. So it’s my turn to stand up to all of those, those that still judge, that still don’t understand. They will. 💫 Share
