Saturday 21st FebThis year I’m taking part in Walk for Autism.
I’m 18 and I’ve lived with autism my whole life diagnosed at age 10. For many years I struggled quietly — with understanding myself, feeling different, and trying to navigate a world that didn’t always make sense to me. Over the past few years, I’ve worked incredibly hard to better understand who I am, learn how to manage the challenges I face, and finally start feeling comfortable and confident in myself.
Autism is a part of me — it shapes how I see the world, how I think, and how I care. While it has brought challenges, it has also made me resilient, empathetic and strong.
Now I want to give back.
I’m walking to raise money to support other autistic people and their families — so they can access understanding, support, and opportunities to thrive. Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference.
