I'm walking 5,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I am currently on the waiting list to get my Autism diagnosis. Some people in my family have Autism and I want to spread an awareness of Autism. Most people say Autism is just a label for naughty kids, but that is not what it is at all. Autism is a neurodivergent condition and it affects how the brain processes things. People with Autism find it hard to process information as they may be a bit slower and they may not understand straight away what is being said to them and may need to be explained to them again.

With all of that said, I'll be walking 5,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
