I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

My name is Amy, I am 29 years old I have a 12 year old son who was diagnosed with autism when he was 3. He has learning difficulties and is in special education. He’s journey opened up a whole new world for me being such a young mum. He’s journey lead me to my own autism diagnosis last year! On top of that I have 2 other children age 6 & 10 who are awaiting autism diagnosis too. My children are my inspiration. My children fight through difficulties every single day and never give up. They smile, they laugh, they are kind and despite all the struggles that we have to manage we don’t let it knock us down.
I am walking to raise money to support other families, I am walking to give back, I am walking because I know what it’s like as a parent and as an autistic adult just how hard this journey can be ❤️

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
