Raising Awareness and Support for Autism & Genetic Conditions

I have launched this fundraising challenge for Autism because, through my work in early years education, I have had the privilege of supporting many children with diverse needs across the spectrum. Seeing their unique strengths and challenges firsthand has deepened my passion for raising awareness and providing support for those who need it most.

Even closer to home, my own family has been profoundly impacted by genetic conditions. My grandson has 22q 11.2 deletion syndrome, 1q 21.1 micro-duplication, and ADHD. My son-in-law also has 1q 21.1 micro-duplication and ADHD, and my granddaughter has 22q 11.2 deletion syndrome and 1q 21.1 micro-duplication. Their journeys have shown me just how crucial it is to increase understanding, improve resources, and create a more inclusive world for individuals with these conditions.

This challenge is my way of making a difference—not just for my family, but for every child and adult who faces these challenges daily. Every donation and act of support brings us one step closer to greater awareness, better resources, and a brighter future for those with Autism and genetic conditions.

Thank you for your support!
