Epic challenges planned

Friday 20th Feb
👣💚 Walk for Autism 2026 💚👣

I will be fundraising for Autism Initiatives again this year and have set myself some epic walking challenges 😎🙌.

Yorkshire three peaks- 24 miles and 1,672m of ascent
Edale Skyline Challenge in the Peak District- 20 miles and 1,200m of ascent
Lake District 24 Peak Challenge- 30 miles and 3,548 of ascent !

Walk for Autism is a challenge to walk 10,000 steps a day over 8 x days, starting on 26th March and ending on 2nd April which is World Autism Awareness Day. (My fundraiser is open now and will stay open until the end of April so some of our fundraising will fall outside the set 8 x days).

Safe to say I'll definitely over achieve on the steps front 😅😆.

I walk for my son Freddie- my inspiration,  my hero, my world 🌎.

Society expectations are unnecessarily tough for neurodivergent individuals 🥺 Awareness,  understanding and acceptance of neurodoversity is still far from evident in most areas 😔. Can you imagine how exhausting it is to navigate a world designed for a neurotypical brain when yours works differently.  Watching your child be judged, criticised and even punished for behaviour they cannot control is truly heartbreaking 💔. I support any organisation who are working tirelessly to improve the lives of autistic individuals whilst also campaigning for a better future for all. My children inspire me to better myself and the world we live in, every single day 🫶💚.

I will share further information of each challenge as they come closer, and details of the walks and challenges we'll be completing as a family, but for now I'm busy training and prepping ☺️. Please help support our cause.
Thank you so much xxx
