I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

I would like to personally thank my sponsors who have donated in such a short amount of time. I’ve already reached a target of raising £20 and have a T-shirt on its way. Your kindness, generosity and support means so much to me. 

I Would also like to introduce an idea to get this walk started sooner than later. So, my idea is that when I come on TikTok to stream/talk about my fundraiser. If someone donates £25 on the spot, I’ll go and walk for 25 minutes?! As I struggle to leave the house on a daily basis since lockdown, this would push me out of my comfort zone, but I am willing to push it for a good cause. I’ll be turning gifting off during the times I stream about this cause. If anyone would like to join the stream and take part remotely with me, I’d be open to do that. Or if anyone that lives close to me would like to join me, give me a message on my TikTok or somewhere you know I’ll be able to talk with you.

Walk for Autism

Tuesday 24th Feb
This year I’m taking part in ‘Walk for Autism’ as it’s a subject close to my heart. I, myself and my children are all autistic, and are faced with numerous challenges in our day to day lives. As the event is very close to my birthday, I am going to try and raise money, to support, advocate, and do something kind. Anyone’s support at all is appreciated but not obliged to. 
Also, thank you for taking the time to read this. Initially, I will be doing the walk alone, but anyone is welcome to join and bring their children and pets. 

10k steps per day
8 days in total
May stream it. May not. I’ll be sure to take pics and keep everyone updated as I go. Where would you like me to keep you all updated?
