I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me. 

I’m a mummy to a special little boy who lives with autism so I know the struggles of raising a child with ASD. This is something that personally sits close to my heart.

Walking for my little boy 🩵

I’m fundraising for my little boy who was diagnosed with Autism in 2023 at just 3 years old, my little louie is also non verbal I’ve seen him go from strength to strength in so many different aspects. 
Louie is learning to communicate in new ways and becoming so independent is amazes me everyday. Louie has just started learning how to communicate using an AAC device and seeing how now he has the opportunity to have a voice makes me even more determined to ensure other children are able to have this option as I know these devices aren’t cheap and often require funding.
Some days are a lot harder than others some days even certain noises can be to hard for louie to bare. But I want to be able to raise as much as possible to help as many children and adults in the autism community get the support they need. This sits very close to my heart 💚🩵
