The reason why I am doing the walk for autism
Sunday 18th JanHi, my name is Brogan, and I’m taking part in the Walk for Autism because this cause is very close to my heart.
I have friends and family members who live with autism, and through them I’ve seen both the challenges and the incredible strengths that come with being on the spectrum. Autism isn’t something that affects just one person it affects families, friendships, and entire communities. Supporting this walk is my way of standing beside the people I care about and showing that they are not alone.
People with autism experience the world differently, and that difference deserves understanding, patience, and acceptance. I’ve seen how important support systems, awareness, and resources can be in helping individuals with autism live happy, confident, and fulfilling lives. By walking, I hope to help raise awareness and contribute to support that truly makes a difference.
This walk isn’t just about the distance it’s about compassion, inclusion, and creating a world where everyone is valued for who they are. Every step I take is for my friends, my family and everyone affected by autism.
Thank you to everyone who supports me, donates, or shares this journey. Together, we can help spread awareness and make a positive impact 💙
