I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

So finally after a very long 6 years at the beginning of January Thea got an autism diagnosis. 
This wasn’t a surprise as we new it was on the cards but it’s been extremely emotional and hard to accept, Thea is the most beautiful, honest and creative little girl and finally she will be getting the help she deserves and needs.
As a mother this has hit me like a ton of bricks, all I want to do is protect and look after my child but I feel the worst guilt as is this my fault?, was it something I did?! The unconditional love a mother feels for a child is the greatest gift ever but to see you little girl struggle on a day to day basis with the simplest of tasks is heartbreaking!
I want to raise some money to help support all families who struggle with a simple day like we do and also raise awareness.

Every child is a blessing but mine is truly unique and I love her 🩷
