Our challenge for Thumper
As some of you may know ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) is something that is close to my heart, having learned in September that our little girl is not neurotypical.People on the spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. Simply trying to cope with the everyday can cause stress and anxiety and prevent many people from fully participating in the world around them.
By taking part in Walk for autism, we will step closer to a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
